Been working on this piece on and off since august.. I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I just kept at it and it turned out alright I suppose! Not exactly what imagined, but when have I ever painted something something exactly the way I wanted it? Not often. :'D

And I must mention that this is, in fact, Miyazaki (princess mononoke &amp; spirited away) inspired~ I've always loved the spirits in that movie. It's so surreal~ It's the kind of art I absolutely love~ <3

Miyazaki's work is probably one of only a few positive exposures to anime anyone can have, and that's probably because it's so amazing and beautiful, it's hard to call it anime at all.

You've picked a wonderful artist to look up to, no less, and I can see the inspiration in the wonderful piece. Great work!

I agree.. I absolutely miyazaki.. he has such a great mind and creative mind.. I absolutely love his work~ He's always an inspiration for me.. I can't help but think of his work when I draw now.. :3
