Woke up pretty early today to head out to AX. I was soo tired... I haven't really gotten really good sleep the past few days. :S Hehehe, due to the heat here and someone's snoorrrinngg...
Anyway, when we got to the convention center there was the longest ass line up to get badges/passes... when I saw I did NOT want to go anymore... we already had our badges, we just needed holders. :/ We didn't want to wait 3 hours for a holder. :/
But we met up with =
Kaji01 and *
kasuran at their hotel. Almost waited 2-3 hours for pass holders, but luckily a table opened just to get them. So we didn't have to wait. I didn't get into the convention til like 2pm~ :S
Overall, from what I've seen so far, the con was alright. REALLY crowded. :S It was hard to see things. Like the artists. It was really cool seeing artists sketch and color~ *~* Some pretty amazing artists.

But again, very crowded; didn't get to check it all out. I did a lot of browsing with the artists and the dealers room~! Lots of toys, books, copic markers~ So many things to buy! And yet I didn't really buy anything. :S So much to choose from, and things were expensive. :'D I'm going back again though... I have a weekend pass. Maybe I'll buy a keychain or something... but yeah, the stuff there isn't cheap.

I was sad about that. I really want to get a goomba plushie, but they're so expensive.
I didn't really get to meet anyone! XD Except for =
look ! I wanted to get her and *
kuroitora's artbook. ^^ She was really sweet. Beautiful artwork~ <3 I saw a lot of other artists too, but too shy to say anything. XD I kind of stayed on the down low and just browsed around.
I managed to go the SKIN concert. Skin is that new j-rock band or whatever. *I know nothing about j-rock, so bear with me* We only happened to go because they were giving away FREE tickets. The crew there fucked up and delayed the concert 2 hours late. It was the first concert I've ever been to! Also the first for me to get kicked out of.

WTF. When we went through security at the entrance, the girl didn't even look inside my bag to see that I had a camera... She just felt my bag, asked if I had firearms or drinks. I told her I didn't. She let me in. There was a sign that said what you could not bring in. They were rushing to seat people because they were behind schedule, so I didn't even notice it when I went in.
I knew my friend from school liked j-rock and would appreciate some pics or video of the concert. So I started recording bits for him. The only reason why I did was because the instant the lights went out, everyone's camera and cellphones were on recording! So I figured, why not? I had maybe recorded 4 small bits of pieces of the concert... not the best quality, but it was something. Miyavi started doing a solo thing and they caught me. Ehh...

I they took my name and pass number down and stamped my card. One more stamp and I'm completely kicked out. Ugh, what a load of crap. Half the audience was recording. Oh well. Whatever. The whole thing was pretty disorganized.
It was quite an interesting experience at the concert.

Don't really know much about j-rock at all. It was very loud. :S I think AX also fucked up on the sound because it was painfully loud. I could not hear a thing when I got kicked out. The lady who was being a bitch with me was talking and I couldn't hear anything they were saying!
But anyway, the j-rock guys are way way too pretty for their own good... :S But for some reason I found it to be more appealing than I expected. Their presence was somewhat mesmerizing.

Sorry no pictures of them or concert... they made me delete it all. :S I only saw like 20 mins of the show. :S
I didn't really take a whole lot of pics yet~ But they'll be up at my
flickr.
